A native of Iowa, Patti graduated from Loras College, Dubuque, Iowa, with a BA in Accounting. She’s a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a Chartered Life Underwriter ® (CLU). She’s also a current member of the American Institute of CPAs, Iowa Society of CPAs, and the local chapter of CLUs, as well as a past president of the Iowa Society of CPAs. Since joining Principal® in 1986, Patti has held a variety of positions in the tax reporting and business and advanced markets. Patti leads the Business and Advanced Solutions team. She also provides presentations and technical support to financial professionals on business planning, executive benefits, and estate planning, as well as being a frequent speaker on topics related to these topics.
